Financial apps that ‘get it’

“ We are bigger, better, faster and we’re the first to roll out this {fancy name new tech}. What’s more, the first x number who sign up for our service can enter a $10000 lucky draw.”

“We exist for a purpose — we live through the (specific finanical) pain you have and we create this app wanting to make a difference in your lives. Care to join us?”

It’s time to breakout of ‘Transaction‘, and move into ‘Purpose’.

Why? Because your customers simply won’t trust you with their most intimate data — finance and banking information, if you cannot show them you truly care for them.

When I come across Apps (products) that are purposeful, they feel like a breath of fresh air. And I want them to be successful. In fact, the only way that you could be successful, is that your customers want you to be.

But wait, are they genuine with their mission? Or is it another tactic to engage a prospect? Time will tell, your customers (& employees, partners, shareholders..) will find out, and the hurt would be hard to heal.

Genuine is the best strategy. Uncover your purpose, be true to it, use the best technology to make a difference. I’m sure you can grow your fans.
